Guillemots

Spent the afternoon on the sea.  At lunchtime I went to the cliff above Port du Moulin to see if the Guillemots had arrived on Grand Autelet and to my delight I saw the north side of the rock absolutely packed with birds.  It is always such a wonderful sight and sound.  The sea today was so calm and the boat trip around the island this afternoon was great if not a bit chilly.  We saw lots of Fulmars paired up on the cliff ledges, Shags, Oystercatchers, Gulls, Razorbills and at least two hundred Guillemots on Grand Autelet.  The photo on the right is of the collapsed cliff at Grande Greve Bay which has made the bay unreachable from the land.
