L'Eperquerie rocks

Still, calm but cloudy with a bit of sun from time to time today.  Walked up on the top of the big rocks on the west side of L’Eperquerie, among the gorse which is just about to burst into flower.  Gulls and Fulmars circling the cliffs, a slight whiff of spring in the air.  The lichen-covered boulders on this part of the cliff are a great vantage point for painting, with the whole of the majestic west coast stretching out in front of you.  Produced this small watercolour study of the boulders.
